Guardian Family Opportunity

How we grow our program while remaining committed to the dogs in our home:

Being a guardian home for a breeder pick puppy or adult is a great opportunity for a local family (ideally within 2-3 hours of zip code 14805) to provide a loving home for a top show/breeding quality puppy selected by the breeder, at little or no cost. 

We evaluate puppies from every litter and at times have a puppy we would really love to place in a guardian home with a wonderful loving family, that we could later use in our responsible health testing program. 

Depending on the arrangement, this may allow us to breed a litter and/or show the puppy at our own expense. We would also pay for any breed recommended health testing (ie: Spine, Hips, Echocardiogram, 24-hr. Holter, Thyroid, ARVC/DM genetic testing).

Basically the puppy would be yours to love and cherish in your own home for life, but he or she would enjoy a visit once in awhile with the breeder. 

We are happy to discuss details/options further with local applicants who are interested. Guardian home arrangements can be made in different ways.

Since our dogs are raised in our home and not a kennel, it is very important to us to limit the number of dogs in our home so our dogs remain very happy and prioritized family members. Our guardian family program allows us to expand our program in an ethical responsible way while placing puppies with their loving forever home. This has been a very successful program for us, as well as our families.
